Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PageTranslate.ai services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Enterprise customers may negotiate separate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) that supersede conflicting terms.
Service Description
PageTranslate.ai provides cloud-hosted document translation using multiple LLM providers. Features include file upload, translation processing, billing management, analytics, and administrative controls.
Customer Responsibilities
- •Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
- •Ensure uploaded content is lawful and you have the right to use it
- •Abide by our acceptable use policy (no spam, malware, or illegal content)
- •Comply with export regulations related to cryptographic software and LLM usage
- •Provide accurate billing information and maintain valid payment methods
Service Availability
Target Uptime
99.5% monthly uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
Enterprise SLAs
Translation start within 5 minutes, support response within 2 hours (business days).
Payment Terms
Subscription fees are billed in advance; usage-based charges are billed post-usage
Late payments may incur 1.5% monthly interest or the maximum allowed by law
Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination after 15-day notice
All fees are non-refundable except as specified in our refund policy
Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day "re-run or refund" guarantee for jobs ≤50,000 words. Larger projects receive re-runs or credits at our discretion.
Pro-rated refunds for downgrades or cancellations are provided at our discretion. Refund requests are processed within 10 business days when justified (e.g., service outage, quality failure).
Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of all source materials and translated outputs. We do not claim any rights to your content.
Our Platform
PageTranslate.ai owns all platform software, models, and derivatives. Our trademarks, logos, and service marks are protected.
Anonymized Data
Aggregated, anonymized data may be used to improve our services and develop new features.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to protect confidential information with reasonable care. Exceptions apply to publicly known information, independently developed content, or disclosures required by law.
Termination
You can terminate your account anytime via the app or written notice
We may terminate for breach, illegal activity, or non-payment
Upon termination, access ceases and we delete customer data per our retention policy
Indemnification & Liability
Customer Indemnification
You indemnify PageTranslate.ai against claims arising from your content or misuse of the service.
Liability Cap
PageTranslate.ai's liability is capped at fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for consequential or punitive damages.
No Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Dispute Resolution
Governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA
Disputes resolved via binding arbitration in New Castle County, Delaware, unless prohibited by law
Each party waives the right to a jury trial and class action lawsuits
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service with 30-day notice via email and in-app banners. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will require your explicit consent.
