Limits
How large is too large?
The limits are 100 MB and 1,000 pages per PDF. There is no word limit, so a 1,000-page digital PDF that fits in 100 MB is accepted.
If your PDF is over 100 MB, it is usually because of high-resolution images. Save a reduced-size copy (in Acrobat or Preview, export with image compression) and the text will translate the same.
Processing
What happens after you upload a big file
The upload is saved first. Every page is analyzed, scanned pages go through OCR in ordered batches, and the full word count and exact price appear when analysis finishes. After payment the document is translated in the background, and you get a private link to follow progress and download the result.

Large-document fee, explained
Large PDFs are priced the same way as small ones, per 1,000 words. Documents over 100,000 words add a small large-document fee for each additional 100,000 words. It is included in the estimates below and in your quote.
